Coming from a different industry, I took a leap of faith with the dream our CEO had - to be a forerunner in the eCommerce industry and I am thankful every day that it was a great choice indeed. We have defined and manifested our own culture, which is deeply rooted in our company principles, with how we interact with our clients, with how we act as employees, and how we take on the challenge. On a personal level, seeing this with the people I work with fuels me day by day to strive not to be the best but to be what is needed to make the dream a reality.
For the past 5 months, AMZ AllStars helped me realize that I am my only limit. Because of AMZ, I have discovered skills I never imagined I have. These skills help me produce content for various company projects that recognize and build connections between employees. AMZ Allstars is not just a company, it's a home! I was looking for a job where I can continuously grow, learn more, and work with great people, and I think I made the right decision to join this growing and dynamic company. I joined as an Account Manager, May last year and after a couple of months, I was given a chance to be part of the Training and Quality Team which is my favorite team. Every day I am learning and I love that my team and I are always united to work towards excellence and success of the company.
When one door closes, another one opens. In fact, too many doors closed on me when I am on the journey of looking for a career opportunity after my 10 years working in the retail industry. AMZ widely opened its door to allow me to fill in the many opportunities this start-up company has to offer. The Bosses are a people person, they are approachable and will truly lend their ears and time to hear you. They nurture each talent and skills, true enough that the promotion came from internal. I started as Account Manager and got promoted to IT Lead right after I turned 1 year old in the company. During this Pandemic, being with AMZ is beyond great, I am wholeheartedly grateful. AMZ allowed us to work from home temporarily. The company is expanding and growing, which is a fortunate chance for those looking for a job while other companies are closing.
